The IIMS program is supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The seminars bring together investigators from basic, clinical, and social sciences to highlight the bidirectional and multiple stages of the scientific translation of research discoveries from the bench to the bedside and to the community. Seminars are held monthly during the fall and spring semesters, alternating between the two campuses.
