The mission of Dr. Manuel P. Berriozábal's Prefreshman Engineering Program (PREP) is to prepare middle and high school students for advanced studies and careers in STEM fields.

At PREP, students gain essential skills in science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on learning and collaboration.

PREP challenges students to think critically and work creatively, preparing them to tackle real-world problems.

PREP students are empowered to lead with access to UTSA resources, industry experts, and inspiring mentors.

PREP students showcase their talents through STEM challenges, projects, and internships, gaining confidence and experience.
