Welcome to the Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design (Klesse College) at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Our multidisciplinary college focuses on identifying and solving grand challenges where humanity intersects the physical world. CEID serves as an incubator for academic research and inquiry across disparate, yet complimentary, academic fields that work cohesively to improve the world around us. Recognized as a leader for social mobility, cultural diversity and equity of opportunity, our students are challenged to leverage their unique skills and perspectives in hands-on, experiential learning opportunities preparing them to excel in the workplace.

Accreditation

Architecture: both the M.Arch 2 and M.Arch 3 programs are accredited by the National Architectural Acceediting Board (NAAB). The most recent accreditation was awarded in 2016 and our next full evaluation is scheduled to be completed in 2024. Read more information about NAAB.

Construction Science & Management: CEID's four-year undergraduate Construction Science and Management degree is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE). The program was first accredited in 2015. Read more information about ACCE.

Engineering: undergraduate programs in biomedical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Read more about ABET.

Historic Preservation: the graduate program in historic preservation is a member of the National Council for Preservation Education (NCPE). Read more about NCPE.
