Dr. Eric Brey is Dean of the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Klesse College is home to over 4,200 students, 140 full time faculty and $36 million in annual research expenditures, with degree programs across engineering, architecture, interior design, urban and regional planning, and construction. Dr. Brey also serves as Edward E. Whitacre, Jr. Endowed Chair, and David and Jennifer Spencer Distinguished Chair of Engineering. Professor Brey’s research has resulted in over 150 peer-reviewed publications, 15 book chapters, and in excess of $20 million in external funding. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Brey has demonstrated a continued commitment to research excellence addressing critical issues facing Texas, the nation, and the world, investment in the success and advancement of students and faculty, and education as a critical tool for increasing social mobility.
