Lecturer, Architecture and Planning
I have been involved with teaching in UTSA’s Architectural Program since 2011, shortly after completing my master’s degree there. In that time, I have had the privilege to be a part of the fundamental aspects of student’s professional growth during the first two years of their design and building structures education. Throughout my time at UTSA, I have been involved with and in the building of the program and its scope through various realms that I have been a part of through my time teaching. In addition to teaching at UTSA, I have been involved, since 2006, with Calvetti + Associates Professional Engineer Inc. I have been involved with many multifaceted elements in supporting, building, educating and maintaining the nearly 50+ year legacy of Calvetti + Associates throughout its many years of changes and growth. My experience and expertise have been advantageous at interweaving Architectural visions and aesthetics with Structural needs and performance. As a structural and architectural designer and project manager I have been able to take on many roles while still learning, designing and creating with new technologies, as needed, to help continue Calvetti + Associates’ Engineering excellence.
