SA+P on the move in San Antonio
We are thrilled to announce that the School of Architecture and Planning (SA+P) will relocate to One Riverwalk Place in Fall 2025! This move marks a new chapter, providing an innovative and dynamic environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and career readiness.
Why is this move exciting?
- LOCATION: We are moving to a prime location along the beautiful and globally recognized San Antonio River Walk. It is adjacent to the UTSA Southwest School of Art and in close proximity to the Tobin Center, the San Antonio Museum of Art, and the Historic Pearl.
- NETWORKING: Students will be within walking distance of numerous internationally recognized architecture and interior design firms.
- GROWTH & OPPORTUNITIES: This move is an important step in UTSA's growth in the downtown corridor. SA+P is critical to UTSA's presence in the city due to our commitment to an urban-focused education and community engagement.
- SPACE: Five floors (over 75,000 square feet) designed specifically for SA+P and a parking garage for added convenience.
In SA+P, we cultivate a smart, collaborative studio culture where our students can thrive, be inspired, and prepare for their careers. This transition strengthens the pipeline between UTSA students, the City of San Antonio, and local firms, providing the opportunity to turn academic achievements into professional success.
