Introduction to Lean Manufacturing and Lean Enterprise

 

Course Description: This course is designed to provide an overview of both lean manufacturing concepts and lean enterprise. Successful implementation case studies and a lean simulation game are employed to illustrate how lean tools can be effectively applied by companies to reach their goals and to strengthen their competitiveness. The trainee will be able to:

  • Understand and describe the stages of lean.
  • Describe how lean can be applied to the core business systems.
  • Discuss the concept of the extended value stream.
