Lean Manufacturing Tools and Value Stream Mapping

 

Course Description: This course covers lean manufacturing tools and value stream mapping techniques. This course includes error proofing, continuous flow, leveling, plan-for-every-part, pull systems, continuous improvement, and current and future state value stream mapping. The trainee will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of thirteen important lean tools.
  • Create a basic current state value stream map.
  • Analyze the current state and identify possible improvement opportunities.
  • Create a future state map.

Who should attend the course: All levels of engineering functions, shop floor supervisors, and operators.
