Dear Klesse Faculty,

In this message we will be detailing an important aspects of our college's web presence: your faculty profile. We want to ensure that you feel that your profile page is up-to-date and provides the audience with what they need.

Objective

There are two primary objectives for the faculty profile page:
1. Provide prospective college partners a direct means to understand our faculty makeup and communicate the achievements of our faculty body
2. Provide you with a hub to promote your work to students and collaborators

In order to meet these objectives, we have built the following form which allows you to submit changes to your faculty profile in addition to requesting page changes to other pages on our website which need updating.

Submit a Web Request

Here are the steps to updating your faculty profile page (if you already have one). If you do not have a faculty profile page, please skip to step 2.

  1. Visit your faculty page and check that all information is correct and up to date. Pay specific attention to any honors or awards
  2. Visit the web request qualtrics and make any necessary corrections to the information on your page. Consider making the following changes or additions to your faculty profile:
    1. Update headshot (see guidelines here)
    2. Add a bio PDF document (optional word template available here)
    3. Add your bluebook link to your profile
    4. Add your research laboratory or institution link to your profile
  3. You may request a Wordpress website located on ceid.utsa.edu

Once submitted, webpage changes will be made in order of submission and complexity. During times when many requests are submitted, requests may take up to three weeks to resolve. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thank you so much! If you encounter issues or if you would like to inquire about including additional information in your profile, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email, sean.garnsey@utsa.edu

Sincerely,

Sean Garnsey
