Welcome to the Makerspace

The Main Campus Hub for Innovation and Collaboration

At the heart of Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design lies the Makerspace, a sprawling 17,000-square-foot hub dedicated to fostering creativity and nurturing ingenuity while providing students with the resources needed to fabricate their visions.

Located on the first floor of the Science and Engineering Building, this versatile space is hard to overlook. An expansive assortment of 3-D Printers and colorful print models line the walkway, offering passerbyers a glimpse into all of the myriad of resources available within. In addition to the print lab, students can access a fully equipped machine shop featuring a laser cutter, multiple welding stations, the CNC mill, and a variety of electric saws. These highlights along with all the other available tools comprise this space which can only be described as an engineer’s dream. In addition to the machine shop, private meeting rooms, a computer lab, and a fabrication lab are also key parts of the Makerspace.
